STRIPING
Many times homeowners apply wax to hide the damage of the floor and to avoid properly restoring damaged natural stone floors because it's cheaper than restoring it. The problem with wax is that it leaves a thin layer on the natural stone floors giving it an unpleasant plastic appearance. Customers regret applying this product and decide to remove it.
The wax on the floors, being a thin layer, is easily scratched and in high-traffic areas, it loses the consistent appearance of the finish.
If you are not pleased with the appearance of your wax finish, we can remove it and restore your floor the correct way, which is through a mechanical process called honing (wet sanding) that removes scratches and acid burns that your floor may have and prepares it to be mechanically polished.
